Easy Homemade Cookies Cookbook Review

Cookies are easy to make for snacks or dessert. If you have a smaller household, they can be frozen and taken out when needed. The Easy Homemade Cookie Cookbook  includes many new flavor combinations I am anxious to try. Some are banana bread cookies, pina colada cookies and using pudding mix in bars.  Some are no bake cookies so they are quick and easy to make with your kids since you don’t have to worry about them being around the hot oven. Even the baked cookies are easy for kids to help combine the ingredients and then have adult assistance when baking.
In the beginning of the book is a Table of Contents listing the recipe in each chapter and at the back of the book is an Index with recipes listed in alphabetical order.  The first part of the book discusses ingredients and basic equipment used when baking cookies and bars.  Recipes include different types of cookies and brownies & bars.
The first day I had the cookbook, I made No-Bake Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cookies.  They tasted better than the no-bake chocolate cookies I have made in the past. I used chunky peanut butter, so had the extra crunch of the peanuts.  This recipe is similar to the one I made.
