This post is not about cooking but another life skill I feel is very important, financial matters. I recently had a 3-hour car ride with my niece who is getting ready to graduate from high school. We started talking about financial matters such as credit cards, car loans and mortgages. Just like learning to cook, I also feel it is important to learn about money and finances before they get out on their own.
Many people say either they don’t like to cook or are not good at cooking or good with money. I feel a lot of those problems come because they were never taught how to cook or how to deal with finances.
